Naas Driving Academy’s training centre can provide training for both private individuals and companies. We provide training in Counter Balance Forklift Trucks, Reach Trucks and Power Pallet Trucks. This forklift training is provided through our sister company Essential Driver & Safety Solutions
Many accidents occur through untrained forklift drivers who are unaware of the forklifts capabilities and limitations. Health and Safety regulations stipulate that all drivers operating forklifts must have certification. All of our trainers are accredited and approved RTITB instructors. Our training can be conducted at our premises using our equipment or we can arrange for a trainer to train your staff on site. To discuss this option please contact Sue or Aoife on 045-879969
These options are suitable for drivers with little or no experience. On completion of these courses you will be issued with an RTITB certification provided you reach the required standard of skills assessment practical and theoretical exams.
This three day training course is designed for experienced and uncertified forklift operators who have never been officially trained or certified. RTITB certification will be awarded provided you reach the required standard of skills assessment practical and theoretical exam.
This course is designed to upskill and refresh certified experienced forklift operators. It will also keep operators up to date with new legislation and responsibilities. On completion of these courses you will be issued with an RTITB certification provided you reach the required standard of skills assessment practical and theoretical exams.
Course duration 1 day including certification
This training course is suitable for drivers who want to extend the range of forklift trucks they are qualified to drive. Conversion training will assess existing skills allowing the driver to upskill to another type of forklift. A certificate will be issued on completion of this course after achieving the required skills practical assessment and theoretical test.
This course is designed for operators of power pallet trucks and is a half day in duration. This training course can be added to any of our other forklift training courses and is included in our 5 day novice course. Certification will be awarded provided you reach the required standard of skills assessment and theoretical knowledge.
On completion of these courses you will be issued with an RTITB certification which is valid throughout Ireland and the UK.
